Front End Developer
Job Description
Commitment: ~12 hours/week (long-term)

As a frontend developer (or full stack developer with frontend focus), you’ll turn ideas into impact, building responsive, accessible interfaces that reflect our mission of sustainability through technology.
What you’ll do
- Implement user-facing components using React and TypeScript
- Build key workflows across mapping, auctions, payments, and community interaction
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and WebSockets
- Lead the migration of authentication flows from Keycloak to Auth0
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and user logic
- Optimize performance, responsiveness, and browser compatibility
- Contribute to a design system that supports scalability and brand consistency
