Front-End Developer

ECS is seeking a Frontend Software Developer to work in our Arlington, VA office with Remote option.

ECS seeks a dynamic and experienced Frontend Software Developer to provide development support and customer focused UI/UX mockups and implementations for our national security client. ECS is building the next generation .gov registrar. An online service provided for the registration of top-level domains ending in .gov. It will include features which facilitate the effective workflow, experience, security, and analytics of top level domains. We are seeking a creative problem solver, who is experienced with Python and Django, enjoys the challenge of tackling technical and creative tasks and problems with freedom, and connecting dots to think at the broader, solution level. A strong desire and aptitude for learning is a must with a proven ability to adapt and drive change – our solution is consistently iterating, along with new requirements, technologies, and the threat landscape. Successful candidates will have demonstrated comfort with Python Django, experience writing well-structured code, providing analysis and suggestions for User facing features, and using development best practices to deliver enterprise applications. Candidates should have a solid understanding of application architecture and interfaces as well as experience with database integration, software development and the execution of lifecycle delivery and support services.

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ years experience using Agile and SecDevOps practices and tools to iteratively and rapidly deliver secure enterprise scale solutions.
• 5+ years experience years of relevant work experience as a web developer focusing in UX focused development, comfortable navigating Fronted Frameworks such as Angular or Vue, mastery of JavaScript, comfortable creating wireframes, visual content, reviewing or providing content, and general UI and UX guidance/support. Experience with mobile first approach to development.
• 5+ years experience working with Customer Experience / Human Centered Design experts to deliver customer-focused, effective solutions
• 3+ years experience iteratively building and deploying web-based applications and data platforms in AWS and Azure – HTML/CSS, Javascript, responsive web UI frameworks [Vue.js, React.js, Angular,js, bootstrap, java]
