Senior Trucking Customer Service Representative

Job Description

  1. Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to trucking and freight services professionally and efficiently.
  2. Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of shipments.
  3. Monitor shipment status and provide real-time updates to customers.
  4. Manage customer accounts, ensuring that all transportation services meet contract requirements.
  5. Handle customer complaints or service issues, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation of all service requests, complaints, and resolutions.
  7. Provide support and mentorship to junior customer service staff.
  8. Prepare daily/weekly reports on customer interactions and shipment performance.
  9. Communicate effectively with internal departments (warehouse, billing, sales) for smooth operations.
